Bristol Jacks first opened its doors in May 2007 and was soon followed by the Portishead Jacks in August 2008.
Executive Head Chef Simon Davis oversees the kitchens in both restaurants using his skills and experience to implement a menu in both restaurants. Simon is originally from Leeds and spent the majority of his career cooking in Yorkshire and Lancashire. His style of cooking is influenced by his Northern roots and he combines these influences with the fantastic produce that is available in the South West to create seasonal and exciting menus.
Jacks is part of the Fosters group, a family owned company established in Bristol in 1959. Fosters offer bespoke event catering for every occasion and boasts venues such as Brunel's ss Great Britain, the Orangery at Goldney Hall, the Merchants Hall and the Lord Mayors Mansion House to name but a few.
